Donbas Media Forum Global was launched in 2023 by the European representative office of DII-GLOBAL-EUROPE. It is a regular offline event to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian and foreign journalists.
The first DMF Global took place in Warsaw in November 2023 and contributed to strengthening ties not only between Ukrainian and European colleagues, but also improved cooperation between regional newsrooms within Ukraine and gave birth to new interregional projects. The event was hosted in parntership with Free Press for Eastern Europe and supported by Free Press Unlimited, RSF, EU4IM and DT-Global financed by EU.
The head of the organizing committee is Lyubov Rakovytsia. The project team: Andriy Romanenko, Yuliia Didenko, Kateryna Zhemchuzhnykova and others.
